Founded in 1941 by Mayfield businessman Ed Gardner as a tribute to his wife Annie's lifelong dedication to helping those in need, The Annie Gardner Foundation is a privately funded non-profit serving residents of Mayfield and Graves County.
The Foundation provides support through three core programs: financial assistance for essential expenses such as rent, utilities, and medical bills; interest-free student loans to help Graves County residents pursue higher education and vocational training; and a Community Goods Center stocked by donations that provides free clothing and household items to individuals and families in need.
To qualify for assistance, residents must demonstrate five years of continued residency in Mayfield or Graves County, provide proof of income, and supply three business references. All assistance is provided confidentially and with dignity.
